The Brief – We were commissioned to produce a series of ten short films that promote North Worcestershire as a fantastic place to set up a business. These films profiled some of the successful organisations that operated in the area and provided the client with a great set of case studies to use in presentations, meetings and online.  

The Process – For the 'Lorita’s Bakehouse' film, we headed to Bromsgrove to film the business at work and get establishing shots of its location on the high street. Despite its relatively small size we managed to capture the atmosphere and energy of the café without disrupting any customers or staff members.

We took our time when filming the fresh and innovative range of cakes. They looked stunning and as they sat at the heart of the business it was very important to capture their beauty.

After closing time we interviewed Lorita, the business owner. Her ease on camera combined with her first-hand experience of start-up grants and business support made it easy to showce the support new businesses can receive in the North Worcestershire region.

Alongside the standard editing process, we sourced royalty free music that fitted the homely feel of the business.

The Result – Case study films are valuable tools. They provide the viewer with an honest and personal testimonial, coveying key messages in an engaging and convincing way.

These case study videos are currently being put to great use by NWedR. In just a few short months the films have been used at launch events, stakeholder meetings, breakfast briefings and engagement events. With a suite of ten films to choose from, the client has been able to pick the perfect film to match the tone and key messages they need to deliver.
