Client: University College London

Sector: Higher education

The Brief - University College London have been a mainstay client for a few years now, in this case we were tasked with promoting the UCreate Design, Make, Sell programme, which allows students the opportunity to design and sell their own product or service.

The Process - This film was shot across a range of locations to tell the whole story of the event. We filmed the students taking part in workshops and seminars in the stunning IdeaLondon building. The selling stage took place at five different markets across London. We had to be highly flexible, moving around the capital and linking up with several groups of students to film and capture the atmosphere at each stall.

The Result - With some cinematic shots and solid interviews this film now sits pride of place on the UCL UCreate website to entice students to sign up to the programme and to show the project's sponsors the way the funding was used.

We have worked with IDM on a number of projects now, and have been really pleased with their ability to interpret our brief and deliver engaging films. They have delivered a series of high quality films which have really hit the mark in terms of engaging our end users and delivering our messages effectively. Due to the nature of the programmes we run, the team have to work independently liaising with participants, trainers and venue providers in organising their own shoots. This end-to-end project management gives us confidence that our needs will be met without the need for onerous supervision.
